Brewery & Tasting room
Conveniently situated near the entrance to The Grove in the Forest Park Southeast neighborhood, Rockwell Beer Co.’s flagship location is hard to miss. Inside a facade built out of modified shipping containers you’ll find the heart of our operation: a 15-barrel brewhouse and tasting room showcasing an ever-evolving lineup of Rockwell’s beers, a robust selection of seasonal cocktails and wines, and laid-back food from brassWELL by Niche. BEER
Light & Crisp
Passing Clouds
Three types of wheat create a light and fluffy base for a delicate combination of citrusy American and spicy German hops, along with a blend of coriander, Curaçao orange peel, and grains of paradise. It’s bright, soft, and incredibly refreshing.| 4.6% ABV | 14oz
$6
Salute!
Salute! is our Italian Pilsner destined to be our anniversary beer. This beer is brewed with a base of Eraclea Malt (grown next to the Adriatic Sea just north east of Venice) and thoughtful but aggressive additions of Zuper Saazer, Saphir and Tettnang hops in the kettle, whirlpool and as a dry-hop addition. This beer starts with a honey-sweet character, followed by string floral citrus and spice notes, and finishes dry.| 5% ABV | 14oz
$6
Stand By
Clean, crisp and infinitely drinkable. This is the first of our offerings to the Lager Gods. A smooth, cracker-like malt profile teams up with snappy bitterness that never overstays its welcome.| 5.3% ABV | 14oz
$6
Hoppy
Loop Station
We dry hopped this West Coast Pilsner with Chinook, Cascade, and Idaho 7 to create a bright and assertive punch of grapefruit zest, lime ice, and resinous pine that lands on a soft layer of American pilsner malt. | 6% ABV | 14oz
$7
First Available
This beauty is a departure from our other IPAs. Rather than focusing on fluffy, soft malts and juicy hops, we lean into things developed by our West Coast influences: big citrus and pine, some spice, a really lean, dry malt character with a measured dose of bread and caramel from an English crystal malt. Hopped intensely in the kettle, whirlpool, and late in fermentation with Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Michigan Cascade hops. Decidedly bitter and brilliantly clear. | 6.6 % ABV | 12oz
$7
Heavy Slabs
Heavy Slabs is our strong, hoppy brown ale hopped in the West Coast tradition with some of our favorite Michigan and Pacific Northwest Centennial, Cascade, Chinook, and Idaho 7 hops. The flavor is substantial, with notes of chocolate oranges, nougat, grapefruit zest, and toast. | 8.5% ABV | 12oz
$7
Velour Tracksuit
A swank combination of fresh Strata, Mosaic, and Simcoe brings to mind freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, the stickiest strawberry, and the Baker’s Dozen Lawn Boy. | 7.7% ABV | 12oz

Funky, Fruity, & Tart
And So It Goes…
And So It Goes… is a bière de coupage–a blend of fresh, young beer and mature foeder beer–we created to celebrate our fourth anniversary. We took a thread of mature Polymath, our house foeder spelt saison, that we brewed at the beginning of 2022, and blended it with a thread of fresh Polymath that we fermented in stainless and dry-hopped with Amarillo, and Michigan Cascade, Crystal, and Zuper Saazer.| 6% ABV | 12oz
$7
Set The Tempo
Foeder saison dry hopped with Michigan Zuper Saazer and Crystal hops. Big floral and citrus aromas with a hint of funk. Not sour.| 5% ABV | 12oz
$7
Uncle Jam
We aged a strong Oud Bruin-style beer in our foeder for 7 months and allowed it to develop acidity and layers of complexity before racking it onto black currants for an addition 7 months. The result is ribbons of bakers chocolate along with tart, dark berries. It’s bold yet refined with a balanced acidity. | 9% ABV | 12oz

Malty
Extra Special Medium
Extra Special Medium is an English Pale brewed with Amarillo and East Kent Goldings. Our annual collaboration with the inimitable Thomas Sanders. | 5.4% ABV | 14oz

Nitro Moonbase
Rich cocoa, nutty malt, and roast set the tone for a balancing act of orange and apricot hops. | 6.6% ABV | 14oz

Kazimierz (Gold Medal GABF ’21)
A Baltic Porter of formidable strength and depth. Let it warm a little in the glass to unlock layers of bakers chocolate, Demerara, caramel, and char. It’s a smooth ride thanks to a month and a half of cold fermentation in stainless followed by an additional two months in our lager foeder. | 9.2% ABV | 8oz
$6
Foeder bock
This German-style doppelbock is all about layers of malt complexity. Lots of toasted brown bready goodness, tootsie rolls, and hints of dried fruit. Finishes on the sweet side, but isn’t cloying. Doppelbocks were first brewed by Pauline monks in Munich to sustain themselves during times of fasting. This style is not a typical summer style, but sometimes you have a global pandemic and brew schedules get shifted around. But it’s a strong beer that will age gracefully. 7.6% ABV | 12oz
$7
Thoughtfully Spiced
Thoughtfully Spiced is our first holiday lager, a traditional amber bière de garde brewed in the style of traditional French and Belgian country beers. After primary fermentation we lay it down for a cool rest in our lager foeder before accenting it with just a touch of warm holiday spices. |7% ABV | 12oz

Featured Collab
How Sweet of Me
“Jonathan Moxey: How Sweet of Me is our homage to Belgian-style Tripel that we created with our dear friend Jacob Sembrano of Chicago’s Cruz Blanca Brewery. Inspired by a favorite strong pale ale of Bruges, we added piloncillo sugar for a note of caramel and molasses and just enough Indian green coriander at the end of the boil to provide a subtle citrus and spice note that peaks curiosity but doesn’t allow you to quite put your finger on it. It’s strong and decadent with a growing warmth that aims to please. |10.2% ABV | 8oz

Eat This: brassWELL by Niche
Located inside Rockwell Beer Co. in a cozy shipping container of its own, brassWELL by Niche is inspired by the Cinq à Sept happy hour menu at Brasserie by Niche.

All of our events come with the Rockwell Beer Co. hospitality you’ve come to expect—and plenty of Rockwell beer to go around.
Location is Everything
Designed by award-winning architecture firm JEMA, Rockwell Beer Company reimagines a former industrial building as a 15-barrel brewhouse and tasting room near the entry to The Grove. Inspired by the interaction of the organic and industrial elements of the brewing process, the brewery’s design makes use of a landscape of native prairie grass and reclaimed shipping containers, with elements like a decommissioned crane and recycled Missouri white oak finding a new home within the building.
