Where Does Your Tip Money Go?

Giving > Gratuity

Everything about Rockwell Beer Company is steeped in…. non-tradition.

From our building, which features bright colors and cantilevered shipping containers, to our 40-foot bar, which has no seats at all, to the fact that our employees do not accept gratuity, everything we do is non-traditional.

We pay our employees a living wage so our guests have no tip obligation when they visit our tasting room. Instead, we partner with a different non-profit or neighborhood improvement project every quarter and give our guests the option to donate to some great causes.

On Wednesday, we presented Operation Food Search with a check for $5,000 that came directly from guest contributions in the second quarter of 2019.

We believe that treating our guests well and providing a clean and comfortable environment to enjoy some incredible beer with friends shouldn’t cost extra, and that together we have an opportunity to make a positive impact in our community.

A huge thank you to everyone who gave us something a little extra when they visited. We’re thrilled to be partner with The MICA Project for our third quarter organization. Cheers to our guests for helping us help St. Louis.
