Tasting notes: ​Citrus, pine, pineapple

This beauty is a departure from our other IPAs. Rather than focusing on fluffy, soft malts and juicy hops, we lean into things developed by our West Coast influences: big citrus and pine, some spice, and a really lean, dry malt character with a measured dose of bread and caramel from an English crystal malt. Hopped intensely in the kettle, whirlpool, and late in fermentation with Simcoe, Ekuanot, and Michigan Cascade hops. Decidedly bitter and brilliantly clear.
